About us
We are Hodge House Community Trust. We are dedicated to making our community centre the heart of a thriving, connected and inclusive community.
We’re a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), a not-for-profit organisation committed to investing in the Hodge House and Bradley areas. Our focus is on opportunities to enhance the lives of our diverse community, supporting people to engage, connect and flourish, particularly in relation to health and wellbeing.
We already have a track record of delivering major investment locally – our Trustees were previously Directors of Bradley Big Local Community Land Trust, the community-owned company behind the development of four semi-detached houses on Beech Street. They’ve also been managing Hodge House Community Centre, situated just off Regent Street, since 2019 and will be transferring responsibility to Hodge House Community Trust soon.
We're now in the process of developing the community centre and the playing field into a community-focussed leisure and wellbeing centre. At the heart of this development will be a full-size 3G artificial grass pitch. Bradley Big Local Community Land Trust is run by a voluntary board of directors - all of whom live and/or work locally and dedicate their free time to securing and managing lasting improvements for the community and the area.
